Wielkopolska Wytwórnia Żywności PROFI was registered on 22 June 1993 as PROFI-SYSTEM Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością.
In place of Mechanical Appliances Factory liquidated in 90-ties first production halls were built. The establishers and co owners of the company Marek Więcek, Ryszard Dziurłaj, Wiesław Trzciński, Ryszard Tereszkiewicz, Wiesław Motyl, and Robert Barczyk clearly defined the vision of their newly created company. Profi name is the reflection of this vision from the start. Profi means professionalism in everything from production and employees training to educating final customer staff.
Profi has chosen a difficult role of a change leader. We have proven that what is tried out and already known is not necessarily the best. Therefore we have introduced new, light packages. The investment turned out to be very reasonable and profitable.
First packages of poultry pâtés with a very distinctive rooster’s head were produced on 5th September, 1994.
The investment in modern production equipment resulted in achieving quick success in the Polish market.
In August 1998, the construction of the second, fully modern production hall was finished, in compliance with the standards of the countries belonging to the European Union.
Profi company as one of the first polish food companies obtained USA export rights ( 2001 )
All years of the company’s activities are associated with constant development and investments, increasing quality and expansion into international markets.
PROFI has won major part of the market, first and foremost, thanks to its perfect quality products.
Ministry of Economy and Labour has granted our company “Eurofirma” certificate and Association of Quality Research in Wielkopolska “The Highest Quality” certificate.
Consumers have appreciated the fact that the company’s products are made from natural ingredients only: meats, vegetables and the highest-quality spices that do not contain artificial additives.
A great asset of the products is our own recipe that remains unchanged for many years.
Innovative packages have also won consumers’ goodwill
In May 2008 our company celebrated its 15th anniversary of presence on the polish market. It brought time for summing up and reflections. Profi company is a leader in pâtes and soups production.
In its activities, PROFI wants to stay ahead of the curve and not just follow others.
Owing to this strategy, it is now one of the most recognized brands in the food market.
